Sg2 is Stopgap’s Emerging Artists Company for disabled and  non-disabled dancers with an interest in integration and  collaboration.

 Sg2 dancers are employed full time to receive training from   Stopgap Dance Company. The company lead local creative learning projects and run the Stopgap Youth Dance Companies.

The company have a collection of short performances that can be performed as part of a workshop, booked for a conference or toured to small scale or rural venues. More information on Sg2 productions to be announced soon.

Sg2 is supported by the Strategic Touring programme of Arts Council England. Working in partnership with The Point, Zinc Arts, Embrace Arts and The University of Bedfordshire, between 2014 and 2017 Sg2 will tour the country to engage with and inspire new audiences. They will also deliver targeted workshops alongside the performances to help venues and organisations increase participation with young disabled and non-disabled people.
