Helen Bendell Access Officer
Helen graduated in 2011 from Bath Spa University with a BA (Hons) degree in Performing Arts. Soon after graduating she performed in ‘Tin’, a stage and screen production by Miracle Theatre Company in collaboration with English Touring Opera. In addition to this she founded her own theatre company, which performed at the Brighton Fringe Festival 2011.
After this exciting start to her career she began to teach drama to children in her local community. She then worked in schools as a learning support assistant to children with learning disabilities.
Integrated performance art is now a true passion for Helen that she cannot wait to pursue further with Stopgap Dance Company. Having followed Stopgap for many years and recently worked on their latest outdoor production ‘Bill and Bobby’, Helen was thrilled to be their Creative Learning Intern. Since then she has become Laura's access worker.
Helen has collaborated with Stopgap on The Seafarers.
