Freya Spencer Access Worker

Originally from Worthing, Freya trained for 2 years in musical theatre at The Center Performing Arts College before going on to complete her BA (Hons) at London Contemporary Dance School in 2015.

While studying her degree she worked with many choreographers from them industry and performed at venues throughout London and the UK. Alongside this she researched teaching methods for dancers with visual impairments for her thesis.

After graduating Freya spent 6 months travelling through Asia and while there co-created a dance film in Indonesia and taught at Epic Arts in Cambodia.

She began working for Stopgap in July 2016 as Laura Jones' Access Worker and performed in the 2016 Paralympic Games Heritage Flame Ceremony at Stoke Mandeville.
